Director of Shalby Hospitals and his experienced team members will be regularly visiting RAK Hospital to conduct procedures in the area of joint replacement, especially Total Knee Replacement (TKR) and Total Hip Replacement (THR). Dr. Shah is the innovator of the ‘Zero Technique’ through which he can perform a Joint Replacement surgery in just 15 minutes while it takes doctors worldwide over two hours to perform the same surgery. Considered to be a surgical revolution, it allows the patient to start walking within three hours of surgery.
Cardiac Surgery: RAK Hospital has a full team of Cardiac Surgeons, technicians and nurses from the renowned Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute, one of the largest and most successful private providers of advanced cardiac surgery in India. Our Intensive Care Unit is fully prepared to support the cardiac services with qualified cardiac anesthetists along with state-of-the-art equipment.
RAK Eye Care Centre: The hospital has also tied up with renowned ophthalmologist Dr KP Reddy, who is known to perform ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) surgery in just under 15 minutes, at RAK Hospital’s newly opened RAK Eye Care Centre. The surgery corrects vision by surgically fitting permanent contact lenses into the eye. We are also the first in the region to offer VICTUS Femtosecond Cataract Laser Surgery Platform and the TECHNOLAS Excimer Laser 317.
